Highlights
The Levada Fajã do Rodrigues trail is a 3.9 km long path that takes about three and a half hours to complete, making for a total round trip of 7.8 km. It starts at Ginjas in the municipality of São Vicente and leads to the spectacular Ribeira do Inferno. This trail is perfect for enjoying nature slowly and seeing where the water from this 'levada' starts. It travels through small valleys and ridges to water the fields of São Vicente.
